New Year
Happy New Year Interland!
I thought I would dazzle you with my top 10 albums of the past year.
- Sivion - Spring of the Songbird
- BC - Framework
- John Mayer - Continuum
- Mars Ill - Old Ironsides
- sintax the terrific - Curb Appeal
- Lightheaded - Wrong Way
- The Procussions - 5 Sparrows for Two Cents
- Mars Ill - Pro Pain
- Mute Math - Mute Math
- Surreal & DJ Balance - Future Classic
chriswho Says:
MuteMath only #9, for shame. The absense of Mat Kearney nearly invalidates this list …
Not that anyone cares, but I would have to say:
Mat Kearney - Nothing Left to Lose
David Crowder Band - Illuminate
MuteMath - MuteMath
Jars of Clay - Good Monsters
Explosions in the Sky - The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place
Sigor Ros - Takk…
Augustana - All the Stars and Boulevards
Leland - Sound of Melodies
The Fray - How to Save a Life
Galactic - Crazyhorse Mongoose
And yes, I know not all these came out in the last year, but they were all “new to me” in 06. The bolded ones are bands/albums that Patrick introduced me to… looks like you have had a significant influence on my music!

I fixed the error you xhtml hater.
My goal next year is to get a hip hop album on your top 10 ChrissyWho. Surprised I don’t see Gnarls Barkley.

Gnarles Barkley came close, but didn’t make the cut. While Crazy is one of the great songs of the year, it (sadly like the Fray) is becoming so overplayed that it isn’t as enjoyable as it once was for me… I would say Gnarles would have been #11 - and you would get credit for introducing that one to me as well (though you would have to share that credit with Dan).
